Breeders Message

People who have seen Bengals in person agree that these cats stand alone as the most stunning in looks and unique in nature of any cat that they have ever experienced.  Bengals are currently the most sought after breed in the country and are especially popular in the world of celebrities.

Someone who enters a room having never seen a Bengal before will immediately gravitate to the cat.  The cat will be alert and self confident, athletic and panther-like in its movement.  They are extremely bright but are not affected by the notion that the world revolves around them.

With a touch of wild blood, these cats retain their exotic coat and pattern, mimicking a leopard or swirls of marble.  The coat will be short, tight and slick.  Some say that it looks polished and feels like satin.  (Shedding is never an issue).  Some cats are "glittered" in which the individual hairs look like sparkling gold dust in the sunlight.

Like dogs, Bengals enjoy playing with their owners.  Without any training, my Bengals will often bring a little ball for me to throw for them.  They will roar after it and after a successful attack they will bring it back for me to do all over again.

They come when they are called...not one hundred percent of the time, but most of the time.  Our first Bengal adopted our son and would wait by the door for him to come home from school.  All that he had to do was make a little noise and Kiska would stop whatever she was doing and would follow him wherever he went.  Of course she slept on his bed.

We have dogs, big ones, a Doberman, a Husky, and a Shepherd, so guess who is the boss?  Of course, it is the cats!  The kittens will even occasionally run right over the dogs while playing in wild abandonment.

Water.  It does not bother them in the least, in fact, they like it.  If you are taking a shower and the door is not properly shut tightly you may experience some company.

Bengals are cats with an extra dose of personality.  To say that these cats have enriched our lives would be an understatement!
